framer creator micro no longer connecting via cable

i connected my framer creator micro 2 pro using the cable that came with it to my mac mini m4, and it worked perfectly yesterday, but when i turned it on today it was no longer showing up as connected to the mac. i checked chrome://usb-internals and any other device shows up as normal, but the fcm 2 is just.. gone. i made sure the cables were connected properly, which they are. any fixes?
